Hope Despite MS

“I have multiple sclerosis, and my employer Deane Parks of Preferred Nutrition in Ontario, Canada, generously offered to send me to Whitaker Wellness for two weeks, where I was treated with hyperbaric oxygen, intravenous vitamins and minerals, and infrared light therapy.” “During the first week, the feeling in my feet started to return. My balance was better, and I felt steadier when I walked.”

My energy picked up, and I was much more clearheaded. I also had improvements in my vision. I had been having a hard time distinguishing between browns and purples, reds and oranges, and whites and yellows. I received a picture of my daughter during my stay, and to my amazement I could see that her nail polish was purple! That’s someone most people take for granted, but it was a huge deal to me. By the time I Whitaker Wellness, I truly felt like a different person.

“There’s nothing like going to Whitaker Wellness. I feel like I won the lottery! I want to thank the Whitaker clinic and Deane for giving me hope. MS is such a hard disease. The clinic made it possible for me to have more good days than bad—and Deane made it possible for me to go to the clinic. So thank you for putting a smile on my face. I may have MS, but I am extremely lucky.”

Sue Shunned RA Drugs…and Avoided a Wheelchair

“I have shunned the drugs for rheumatoid arthritis for 10 years, opting only for a two-year course on antibiotics three years ago. I was told I would be in a wheelchair within three years of my original prognosis if I did not take the drugs recommended. I did whatever I could in that time with the information I was able to source on natural therapies and my own experimenting to handle the disease.  Admittedly I still have a way to go to have a full recovery, but after being at [Whitaker Wellness] for two weeks I know that it is closer than ever.

“Your treatments have given me back an energy I can’t explain. I had severe chronic fatigue, dragging around and feeling exhausted and constantly yawning. While I still require a good night’s sleep I am no longer yawning all the time. I didn’t have jetlag from the 21 hour flight back from NY to Australia.  I have some aches and pains in my joints but the constant pain in my back is gone. My memory has improved somewhat as well.

“All in all I have come home with hope and renewed energy of purpose. There have been some real positive changes to my health.  I haven’t felt like this in a long time, and I can see why people want to come back. I would like to say a big thank you for your extraordinary dedication in the pursuit of health. It makes me so happy knowing that your clinic exists with a purpose of leading the way by shining a light on ‘good’ medicine and treatment as opposed to the Big Pharma-led medical practices that are not in the best interest of the majority of patients.”

Nutrients, Not Drugs for Rheumatoid Arthritis

When Barbara came to see me, she’d had severe rheumatoid arthritis for about four years and was on Plaquenil, a rather toxic chemotherapeutic drug. Her doctor had recommended Prednisone, a powerful steroid, as the next step, but she refused. As a nurse, she was very concerned about the side effects of Plaquenil, but her pain and swelling were so severe in her hands that she couldn’t work without it.

I started her on a regimen that included large doses of a phytonutrient-rich green drink, antioxidants, glucosamine sulfate, fish oil supplements, and ground flaxseed, and told her to gradually reduce her dosage of Plaquenil.

It was a bit rocky at first, as her pain and swelling increased slightly. However, after just two weeks on the program, Barbara’s symptoms subsided substantially, and she had more movement in her hands than she had had in years.

Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms Improved

I just wanted to express my deep appreciation for everything you have done for me. I have multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, and migraine headaches. When I first arrived at the clinic I had little energy and could barely walk. I could not raise my arms above my head, and extreme numbness and burning in my hands limited their use.

After three or four days of hyperbaric oxygen treatments, I was able to walk much easier, and by the second week my hands felt better—I could put on my own make-up and hold a glass with one hand. Your genuine concern for my well-being is very comforting and encouraging. My energy has improved so much, and I no longer need medications for these conditions!
