OREGACILLIN: Potent Bacteria and Virus Inhibitor
Oregano (Origanum vulgare) has been used as a natural germ killer since Biblical times. The oils of this common kitchen herb contain a polyphenol called carvacrol, which is a potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial that is active against yeast, fungus, and bacteria.
Oil of oregano oil been shown to inhibit and inactivate dozens of strains of bacteria and viruses, including staphylococcus (the common bacteria that causes strep throat), influenza A, and human coronavirus (which causes colds). It is also an effective treatment for yeast, fungal, and bacterial overgrowth in the intestines. Georgetown University Medical Center researchers concluded, “The daily oral administration of oregano oil may be highly effective in the prevention and treatment of candidiasis.”
A particularly potent extract is Oregacillin, which contains origanum oil P73, extracted from wild oregano harvested in the mountains of Turkey. As a preventive, take one capsule of Oregacillin daily with a meal and increase to three per day at first inkling of an infection. Larger doses may be required for patients with candida.
